Me and my mum came to London for my birthday and after visiting the shard stumbled upon bunch of grapes for a drink. One drink led to five as the staff are so friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming and safe for two solo females not from the area. Thoroughly enjoyed our night!

Popped into this pub after visiting Borough Market and can’t stop talking about it! A beautiful traditional pub, great food and service. The menu is modern but nothing pretentious and servings more than ample. Looking to going back early one Saturday to try their breakfast! Don’t be deceived, it’s like a Tardis, looks small from the outside, but has a lovely outside outside as well as an upstairs, we absolutely loved it!

Only called in for a drink initially, but we ended up having a Sunday roast lunch. So glad we did, we ordered the ultimate roast, which consisted of, beef, pork and chicken, it was simply delicious. I often find that pubs fail to master chicken on a roast dinner, it usually tends to be dry, but this was anything but, it was really moist and cooked to perfection. The roast potatoes and vegetables were also very well cooked and the gravy was very taste too. This lunch was way above my expectations. The service was also very good, we ordered at the table and the service was very quick and they checked that we were happy with the meal. Empty glasses were cleared away promptly. I can’t find a fault. We will definitely each here again next time in London.
